Restaurant Business Series #3 Spring 2010
Beginning February 22, 2010
Monday nights 6:00 - 9:00 pm

We will be offering the 'starting a restaurant' five week seminar. This is an in-depth course that is a must for anyone entering the food industry. The basics of operating a business in the food industry will be covered with the participation of the Harrison County Health Department, the Hospitality and Restaurant Association, restaurant food and equipment suppliers and several local restaurant owners. Record keeping and marketing for restaurants will be discussed. And, some great meals will be provided.

Seminar tentative dates: Feb 22, Mar 1, Mar 8, Mar 15 and Mar 22 and a field trip is scheduled for Tuesday, March 9th. You will be attending the monthly meeting of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the MS Hospitality & Restaurant Association and tour a kitchen facility.

Cost for the five week seminar will be $200.00. Class size will be limited to 20 students. Tuition discount for spouses available.
